Black cast iron. Used inside the mantel to frame the fireplace opening. Surround comes complete with fret and ash cover.
Firebox with damper is available at no charge, but we suggest you not order it if you don't need it, as it's a great big hunk of cast iron for you to try and dispose of if you're not going to use it. For example, if you're combining this cast iron surround with the Vision electric fireplace (shown right), you won't be able to use the cast iron firebox.
MEASURES 38" wide, 38" tall.
Opening is 17" wide, 26" tall.
Firebox is 30-1/2" tall x 12" deep.
